Unturned is a free fan-ported steam survival game where players need to survive in a doomsday-like world and build their own base and weapons to protect themselves from zombies and other enemies. The indie project has 3 difficulty levels: easy, medium and hardcore. On some servers you can switch the camera from a first-person perspective to a rear-angle. In addition to travel and skirmishes, there is crafting and construction. Cars require fuel and can explode if hit properly. It is allowed to add upgrades to the barrels: a laser designator, an enlarged clip, an optical sight, a silencer, a flashlight. Firearms are represented by a colt, shotgun, AK-47, screw cutter, double-barrelled gun, bow, M4, crossbow, and other weapons. In close combat, katanas, bats, axes, chainsaws and golf clubs are used. You can become a hero by shooting criminals. Players who kill other players for no reason become bandits. There is also a separate Battle Royale mode. In multiplayer, the user does about the same thing, but also fights with live opponents.
In the single, the user explores places, destroys the undead and searches for useful loot. Untwisted combines zombie shooter and sandbox with survival elements.
